I studied multi media textiles nine years ago and concentrated on embroidery. I have a real passion for it and occasionally dabble but still love the art of stitch.
Karen Nicol is an embroidery and mixed media textile designer working in fashion and interiors. Specialising in Irish, Cornelly, Multihead, beading and hand embroidery, her London based design and production studio has been established for more than twenty years. She has collaborated with some of the worlds most famous fashion designers including Marc Jacobs, Matthew Williamson and this dress here was with Clements Ribeiro.
The colours here are just juicy.....
