Come in, have a look around the gallery

Lovely ceramics by karin eriksson, and sweet prints by Freya.

Such beautiful words in these cards by Freya

Jugs and vases by my hero Ken Eardley.

The new soaps, I love the colours

Let's have a quick peek out the back

My favourite drawer of colour

A bit of inspiration

On the easel yesterday

I found this fabric in liberty years ago and can't bear to use it, it's only a small piece.

One to finish

I'm a bit of a messy painter

Nearly finished

My studio really is the biggest tip at the moment as I'm preparing for a VW camper van festival this weekend. I'm having a stall to sell my wares. I'm more than a bit nervous as I've never done anything like that before. Got so much to do and so little time. I've been trying to find a funky awning to attach to the camper van and keep me dry if it rains. I swear there is a Market out there for something more desirable than the bog standard gazebo looking ones. I would love someone to make me a deckchair stripy one. I wish I had thought about it earlier and commissioned one, maybe next time.

back tomorrow all being well, I've promised some housey pics but it's been too dark inside our little cottage to get any good photos. I love my low beamed ceilings but not much natural light leads to not good pics to share.

This is all I get!!! By the way that Julie arkell doll is one of my prized possessions.

Bye for now.....

P.s Lucy, I think the front door colour is Farrow and ball Dix blue, or it could be stone blue? I have used their blue ground on a lot of internal doors and that is an incredible colour....xx

Ah yes, Dix blue and Blue Ground, I am of course familiar with these colours! One of those two will be my front door colour later this year I hope. I'm designing my own stain glass panels for the door and transom, colourful of course!! can you sense the underlying excitement in that last sentence???!
looking forward to housey stuff, the light here today is awful too, we are back to rain after yesterdays sun, boohoo, such a wet couple months I am so over the wet stuff.xxxx

  4. Ah suzie, please say hello next time you're in, I didn't knw you were a customer. Lucy, projects are so exciting, I often like the planning and researching as much as the final result. How are you doing the stained glass? X

  5. well re the stained glass I'm not actually making it, just designing the panels. I'm trying to come up with quite a traditional geometric design (circles and diamonds kind of thing) but wanting some really great colours for the glass. I envisage it kind of like my crochet but in glass form.
